Q&A with this breeder

Why did you start breeding?

I feel like my story started just like everyone else’s...I wanted an Australian Shepherd. I searched for the right one for our family for months and my choices were extremely limited, so I decided to became the breeder I was looking for. Along the way, I fell deeply in love with the breed and I'm thankful everyday for these amazing dogs that bring so much joy and chaos into our lives!!

What makes your program special?

At Centerfire, we don’t believe a puppy is simply a product or a transaction. Every puppy is a reflection of our program and a part of our legacy. We take great pride in our dogs and are intentional about placing each one in the home that is truly the right fit.

What do you prioritize in temperament?

An “off-switch” is one of our highest priorities. We want Aussies that are confident, intelligent, eager to please, and capable of working or playing hard...but just as happy to settle down and be part of family life.

What support do you offer after placement?

When one of our puppies leaves, our relationship doesn’t end—it begins a new chapter. I want my puppy parents to call, text, ask questions, or share updates anytime. Whether your Centerfire dog is 8 weeks or 8 years old, I’m here. You never have to wonder if you can reach me.
